Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Limited (DRAGONAIR) is an award-winning airline that is also the newest member of the Cathay Pacific Group. Dragon Air started services to Kathmandu in December 2007 and has already built up a strong reputation in the local market for service excellence and our expansive network.

We are now recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager to be responsible for our Sales & Marketing activities in the Kathmandu market.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


■ To lead the Dragonair passenger sales and cargo sales department in Nepal
■ To initiate and follow through sales actions to achieve passenger and cargo revenue targets. To supervise and provide mentorship to passenger sales and R&T teams.
■ To coordinate with regional/head office departments and external vendors to give effect to ATL and BTL marketing Campaigns

■ To build up and strengthen relationship with business partners, including agents, other airlines, media and government authorities.
■ To strengthen our distribution network
■ To promote Dragonair and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles and Marco Polo Club loyalty programmes.


OUR REQUIREMENTS:


■ Strong background in Sales and Marketing, preferably within the airline industry, with a proven track record of achieving targets
■ A minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial capacity. (candidates with less experience but who demonstrate solid managerial potential will be considered)
■ Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
■ Ability to apply strategic thinking in process of negotiation
■ Good command of both written and spoken English
■ A mature personality with well developed leadership, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
■ Proficient working on all common office software
■ You must have the right of residence/work permit for Nepal.
