ChildFund Japan is an International NGO which has been supporting children in the Philippines in the last 30 years. It is now in the process of initiating child-sponsorship programs in Nepal, and invites applicants from interested and qualified Nepalese citizens for the following positions. Both positions are expected to work in a small team and the staff should be fluent in spoken and written Nepalese and English.

Sponsorship Donor Service Officer (One person from 1st March 2009, Kathmandu-base)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall responsibilities of sponsorship donor service in Nepal office
• Correspondence with headquarter arid Partner NGOs (PNGOs) for the services
• Capacity building of PNGO staff in sponsorship, donor service
• Prepare sponsorship donor service manual / training for the PNGOs
• Study tour arrangement.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelors degree
• Minimum 5 years experiences as sponsorship / donor service officer in INGOs
• Experiences in conducting trainings on sponsorship donor services to PNGOs
• Good knowledge on computer basic (MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
• Preferable to have knowledge on child / education program.


The contract will be one-year basis with possibility of extension.
